What are Shared Seats?
Shared Seats offer pooled access to our advanced AI Tutor. Rather than buying a full license for every student, institutions can purchase a number of concurrent seats that can be shared amongst the student population. This approach allows students to rotate access to advanced features based on demand.

Every student already has access to our QuadC AI Tutor’s free version, but with shared seats, your institution can elevate their experience offering access to the advanced AI Tutor with the Shared Seats.

Seamless seat assignment
When a student accesses the QuadC’s AI Tutor, they’ll automatically connect to a shared seat, if one is available. If all seats are full, they’ll get the free version until a spot opens up.
Automatic upgrade from wait-list
If a student is on the wait-list, they’ll be instantly switched to the advanced AI Tutor experience the moment a Shared Seat becomes available with no action needed.
Smart timeout
If a student is inactive on a Shared Seat for a period defined by the administrator, the seat becomes available for someone else. Students can rejoin the queue at any time.
